Awww, Shay I am so deeply sorry for your loss. 💔 My grandmother passed in 2013, and she was my world. Not a day has gone by where I do not think of her. We were incredibly close. She happened to be in the same hospital I was in the day I was born, and my mom took me to her room after we were discharged so that my grandmother could see me, and she told her that she named me after her. We had been thick as thieves ever since, and when she passed away, it was like my world crumbled. To this day it seems so surreal that she isn't here, and it has been like 11 years. I miss her tremendously, however once in a blue moon, she'll come to me in a dream. I believe that she is always with me. I just wish she could've met her great-grandchildren before she passed, but I know she's smiling down on all of us. When you share a bond that tight with someone you love and they pass away, they're never truly gone. They will always be with you until the day you meet again in spirit. However, knowing that does not stop the heart from feeling the way it does after something as devastating as this happens. So scream, cry, yell, do whatever you have to do to express that grief and release your sadness Shay because these are the things that will aid in your healing. Sending you so much love and prayers for peace, strength, comfort, and healing during this difficult time. 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️ May your beautiful grandmother sleep well until you meet again. 🕊💜
